Last updated 10 August 2026

This site is run by Half Light Studio, based in Perth, Western Australia. The short version: it collects almost nothing, and nothing it doesn’t need.

What we collect

If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you type — nothing else. Submissions are processed and stored by our hosting provider, Netlify, and delivered to us by email. We use them solely to reply to you, and we don’t add you to any mailing list.

If you email us directly, we hold your message in our mailbox like any correspondence.

We also count visits using Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service. It records anonymous, aggregate statistics — pages viewed, referring site, browser and country — and nothing that identifies you. No cookies are set, no fingerprinting is used, and your IP address is not stored. The counting request is routed through this domain, so your browser never contacts the analytics service directly.

What we don’t do

This site sets no cookies and includes no trackers, ad pixels, or embedded third-party content. Fonts and all other assets are served from this domain. Nothing here follows you to other sites, and nothing you do here is tied to who you are.

Hosting logs

Netlify, which serves this site, keeps standard short-lived server logs (IP address, pages requested) for operating and securing the service. See Netlify’s privacy policy for how they handle that data.

Retention and your rights

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as it’s useful for working together. If you’d like anything you’ve sent us deleted, or want to know exactly what we hold about you, email hello@halflight.digital and we’ll sort it out.
